Rudding Park with it’s onsite Chapel makes an ideal setting for a luxury wedding.
Mica & Paul chose to get married in the beautiful Rudding Park Chapel on a gorgeous day in May 2023. Everything looked sensational on the day, such a romantic and joyous occasion. You don’t have to look too closely at their images to see how much fun and laughter was flowing on their day, the fizz was flowing plenty too.
My studio in Norton High Street is only a 1 hour trip south on the A19 to Rudding Park, this gives me plenty of time to plan and prepare for a wedding day ahead.
Everything in the world is beautiful, but you can’t see or or touch it. You have to feel it with your heart… Helen Keller
When I arrive at a wedding venue I’ll have a quick scout around to pick out some beautiful backdrops for pictures, even if I’ve been to the venue on many occasions. Time of year, time of day and weather conditions can all play a huge part in what will work on that particular day. Rudding Park has so many offerings it would be easy to get carried away, I’m always mindful that I’m documenting the wedding and it’s not a full day fashion shoot.
We can make plans and mood board your day, but for me it’s about capturing wedding day moments that will make your day shine.
When you book me to photograph your wedding I want to know all of your plans, timing’s and the names of your bridal party this will get me so much closer to you all on your wedding day. I always work in close proximity in a very unobtrusive way, that sounds like a contradiction, but you will definitely forget I’m there.
I don’t follow trends, I follow stories and moments – Gary Walsh
Here’s a few top tips from what I’ve learn’t about weddings, Choose your suppliers and let them do what they do best (they are going to help you have the best day). Always factor in more time than you think you’re going to need, this will save you so much stressing. Think about what really matters to you on your wedding day, it’s so easy to lose sight of what you love about a good wedding. Here’s a tip from an MUA friend of mine, take straws for pre ceremony drinks, your lips will thank you.
Thank for reading. If you’d like me to photograph your wedding in North East England or anywhere in the UK, take a look at my website and then get in touch and I’ll check my diary.
