I think it’s the honesty I’m loving the most about these sessions. It’s like the band have left the stage, all the razzmatazz has been packed away and I’m left with just the singer and her guitar…
What’s an expression session? Without waffling on too much, it’s a way of me capturing an individual portrait of the faces that you love- forever. It can vary from a beautiful wide eyed portrait to a dinosaur roar. Black and white images are timeless and the lack of distracting colours means your focus will be on the faces. Bare shoulders works well and a plain white vest or t-shirt would work too.
The whole universe dances in his eyes and the noise of the world can be paused for a moment…
