Ruby, our bloody gorgeous Shih Tzu, wasn’t just a dog she was family. She came to work with me four days a week (Fridays were her day off), greeted all visitors, and ruled the studio. Except for the window cleaner. And one particular postie.
Photographing Ruby taught me a lot. Dogs have attention spans like toddlers. You’ve got a five-second window, and treats only go so far. That’s why I work quickly, only when the pet is relaxed and ready. Ruby’s framed portrait has pride of place in our living room. Every pet deserves a moment like that.
Pet photoshoots are fun, fast-paced, and hands-on. But most of all, they’re about teamwork. I bring the photography skills and love for animals. You bring the patience, the toys, and the understanding of your pet’s quirks.
Together, we’ll create images that show the best of your companion their character, their cheekiness, and the bond you share.
