This morning I arrived early for my portrait session. I sat in the car listening to Jake Bugg(I’m going to see him on Saturday night so I’m cramming his latest CD). I looked out across the village green at Hutton Rudby and this was the scene looking back at me. I sat for a while longer and with 30 mins to spare decided to become a landscape photographer. How could I have not taken this image! I focused on the bench with an aperture of f5.6(I wanted the bench to stand out and the trees to be blurry). Golden colour saturation kindly provided by some early morning misty sunshine… I’m giving this image the title WAITING.
